Enrique Fernandez, one of my very favorite artists has joined deviantART.  I would encourage you to check out his work here enriquefernandez.deviantart.co… and on his blog enriquefernandez0.blogspot.ca/ .  If you like what you see (how could you not), he has a new project he's trying to fund www.verkami.com/projects/2598-… that looks amazing.  So open up that wallet/purse and pull out you're credit card... or, if you're too young to have a credit card, steal it from your parents and help fund this project because I want to read it.

For the next month or so I'll be working on tutorials and studies in order to address some of the area's that are lacking in my art (backgrounds im looking at you).  It's something I've been thinking about (putting off) doing for a while now and It's about time I shit or get off the pot.  I will of course be posting all my failed early attempts.

During this time, to keep me sane, I will also be happy to take commissions:

BUST drawings (upper body, head) $25 + shipping
FULL BODY drawings $35 + shipping
BUST or FULL BODY digitally painted add $15 (will send digital layered files in any format you choose + drawing mailed)

Wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

I'll be spending the day with my family, gorging myself on turkey and chocolate and reading the Battle Chasers collection my brother got me.  Happy times indeed.

Well, It's been almost a year  now since i started drawing again.  I've fallen a little short of where I wanted to be at this point but I'm happy to have made the progress I did.  Time to redouble the efforts and see how far I can get in another year.

Been on here for a little over a month now and wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their interest and support.  

Its wonderfull to be a part of a community of such passionate and talented people and to be inspired and amazed daily by their work.  Like most of you, a lot of frustration, failure and self doubt comes hand in hand with any success I have as an artist.  The positive feedback can be that little push forward when you feel like you're spinning your wheels and its always appreciated.

I have a long way to go but im looking forward to seeing what I can achieve with time and hard work, and if you enjoy what im doing half as much as I enjoy doing it, all should be well.
